Habit: Upright, rounded, sometimes shrubby. Flowers: Funnel-sharped, in clusters, from spring to autumn. Bright yellow. Leaves: Evergreen, with 5-13 lance-sharped leaflets. Dark green. Native Habitat: Mexico. N.Venezuela, and Argentina. Cultivation: Best grown in a conservatory in cooler climates. Grow in soil or compost. Propagation: By seed in spring or by semi-ripe cutting in summer. Other Names: Bignonia stans, Stenolobium stans.
