 Habit: Delicate, open sperading. Flowers: Small, in broad clusters in late spring. White, pink-flushed. Fruits: Large, round, in clusters, White, tinted pink at the top at first. Leaves: Deciduous, with up to 17 sharply toothed leaflets. Deep, green above grey-green beneath. Orange and yellow in autumn. Native Habitat: Forests of the W.Himalaya. Cultivation: Tolerates dappled shade. Grow in any fertile, moisture-retenive soil. Propagation: By softwood cuttings in summer or by seed in autumn.
